THEY have devoted themselves to educating and empowering the girl child in every domain of her life, and this time around they have chosen to host a fitness, wellness and business event as they seek to conclude women’s month celebration.

It was Well Life Foundation working with Devine Pro and Fitness Mafia among other organisations who orchestrated the event that took place at ZITF last week.

In an interview with Sunday Life, Albert Chakasuka the founder of the Well Life Foundation said: “I think our future is bright if we educate and empower more women. Our wellness strategy for the next 100 years is gathering communities, empowering people and transforming lives.

“We believe that, if we empower the girl child, we are guaranteed that the whole household is empowered not only the household, but the community at large.

When the community is empowered, there is no reasonable doubt that the whole nation is empowered.”

To encourage physical wellness, New Start, a gynaecologist, an optician and a dentist were generous enough to pledge themselves to give free consultation on that day.

Sibonakele Nando from Moms are Genius and Well Life Foundation said: “This function today is about women wellness.

Not only physical wellness, but we are also addressing mental and the financial side as well.

“This is why we encouraged women to come with their stalls and advertise themselves as a way of exposing themselves to the public so that it will know who they are and what they are doing.”

Multi-award winning business woman Providence Moyo, the director of Devine Pro Skin Care and Devine Pro foundation said:

“We want to create employment and we also want to uplift our beautiful country Zimbabwe.

One of the main objectives we have as Devine Pro is that we empower and crate job opportunities for the youths.

“For me, when lives are changed, it means I am living my purpose, it makes me feel whole.

Changing lives is my definition of success.”
