LISTED financial group, ZB holdings has created one-stop service centres in line with their rebranding exercise that seeks to incorporate their three strategic pillars under one roof.

The holding company’s three strategic pillars are banking, investments and insurance, and with the rebranding exercise this will see them transforming their facilities from branches to service centres. In an interview with Sunday News, the Group Risk Manager, Mr Samuel Beta, said the rebranding was meant for the clients to access all these services in one roof.

“On the rebranding side of things, the strategic decision that we have made is that we are moving from the branch and we are now calling our facilities service centres. Why service centres is because our strategy is now bridged on three pillars which are banking, investments and insurance.

“So we want these in one position and in one location so our clients can be helped in one centre. Its no longer a bank branch or an insurance or investments office, its one ZB, you find at all the service facilities that we offer to you and any of the services,” said Mr Beta.

He said in Bulawayo they have rebranded the Belmont service centre which was now able to offer all the services under one branch.

“We will assist our clients with the technology that we are offering, we want them to be online and ensure that they are able to contact or access us 24/7,” he said.

ZB recently renovated it’s Jason Moyo branch in Bulawayo which has already relaunched offering everything in the services centre, a development which Mr Beta said has seen them getting very positive responses from their clients. Mr Beta said the rebranding exercise will not interfere with their service provision to gold miners as they are the exclusive receiver of gold for Fidelity Printers and Refinery.

“We remain the exclusive host of fidelity printers refinery in our service centres. We have that exclusivity because of our capacity to deliver. We are able to host our gold miners  and assist them starting from even their processes at their mines until they sell their gold to fidelity.

“We are trying to make sure that we are doing that on our specific service centres to access our fidelity printers. As a miner comes to our service centre we will continue to assist them through the process of selling or delivery of gold to Fidelity Printers,” said Mr Beta.

He said the institution has engaged security partners internally as well as external security companies including the Fidelity and Printers to put security systems in place. Yesterday, a road show was held in Bulawayo to interact with residents and appraise them on the latest developments.–@nyeve14
