After being accused of thievery, which ultimately led to her dethroning, Cyclone Ree made it a point to turn herself around, before landing a mega deal that saw her landing a modelling in China.

But yes, of course she did return to Zimbabwe after her almost two-year stint in China to pursue a different path — that of being a DJ.

Her debut wasn’t much to write home about, as her show was barely attended with those that did rating her above average.

For the past two years, since her return from China she laid low, despite her DJ stint, Ree had her sights set on nurturing herself into a club and party DJ.

Recently or not so recently Cyclone Ree relocated back to China were she is pursuing her dream of being a renowned DJ.

“I am at a DJ school here but I am not yet working. I want to be a radio, club and party DJ. Presently I’m a resident DJ at a club,” said Ree.

Based in South of China in Hunan Changsha, cyclone Ree wants to be a world renowned DJ.

“So far I have videos online and I have been taking up social media challenges to build up a fan base. I mean I am Cyclone Ree after all,” she said.

Recently she posted a video on social media, taking shots at South Africa’s rapper Emtee, after he accidentally posted pictures of his privates. She said she would soon visit Zimbabwe for a gig if promoters secured her. -@peterkmatika
