PRINCE Nkosana Lunga, warmly known as DJ Prince Eskhosini is back to reclaim his throne as one of Bulawayo’s greatest dancehall DJ’s, with his latest club banger — a remix of rappers POY and Spinx’ 2015 single Dirty Game.

DJ Prince who has been in the game for about 15 years, told Sunday Life that he has been focusing on school work, hence his “timeout”.

“I’m not out of the game. I’m still there. I have just been focusing on school, where I am studying Motor Mechanics at the Bulawayo Polytechnic College,” he said. DJ Prince is one of the most prominent DJs in the city having played at various clubs and events such as the annual Delta Beverages Bohlingers Woza party, Black Coffee gig, Teargas, Miller DJ battle and at night spots such as Metropolis, Horizon, and guest deejay at Eden night club among many other spots.

“I have had quite a good run in the industry, not that I am shying away from it but there comes a time when one needs to have something to fall back on. That is why I am studying Motor Mech. The last time I played was in September at the Chronicles of House Nation in Luveve,” said DJ Prince. He said he began the course in 2015 and is on attachment at the Bulawayo City Council until the end of the year. DJ Prince as far as his career is concerned has managed to collaborate with a Ghanaian artiste by the name Jay Thompson.- Peter Matika
