eye of fashion romper

THOSE who deem themselves fashionistas please admit that you did not see this coming. This fashion trend has been making huge waves on social networks for the past weeks. THE ROMP HIM! Men have complained previously that most fashion forward designs are for women, well, your grievances have been taken into consideration lol.

The dream to see men around the world, living their best lives in short, summer-inspired jumpsuits, typically worn by women, began in Illinois with Aced Design. Noting that male fashion was getting too “basic,” too “runway” and too “fratty,” Aced Design felt like summer ’17 was its moment to shine and unleash the “revolutionary” male romper onto the world stage.

In recent seasons, we’ve seen men adopting fashion items normally reserved for women, including Capri pants (man-pris), sandals (man-dals) and leggings (meggings). But there’s a new gendered item of clothing that’s hoping to change the face of men’s fashion this summer. It’s a romper for men, hilariously dubbed the RompHim. According to the designers behind it, the RompHim is a “super-garment” that’s set to become men’s “favourite summer outfit,” ideal for concerts, beaches, bar patios and leisurely strolls. The adult onesie comes in a variety of prints and patterns, including seersucker, chambray and a special edition in the American flag.

Women don’t enjoy wearing jumpers especially in a public setting because of the stress of having to remove the entire thing just to use the restroom. Well, it seems the men have found the solution: a ZIPPER FLY! And that will solve the vast majority of public restroom issues. There’s also a front shirt pocket, a zippered back pocket and adjustable waist tabs — you know, to accentuate that shapely figure. The romper look has already garnered the approval of a few Western celebrities.

Unfortunately its not all rainbows and unicorns for majority of the men on Twitter. It’s safe to say they are not impressed but women find it funny, because it is. Men have been ranting on Twitter about how they could never wear the romper, or how its not a masculine look, while the women have been making jokes about buying matching rompers with their partners.
