A FORIEGN currency dealer based in Bulawayo is reportedly on the run after swindling an undisclosed amount from the daughter of Zanu-PF secretary of administration.

Nkululeko Ncube who stays in Pumula South is said to have taken the money on the pretext that he could source South African Rands.

According to the police, the money was reportedly meant for some party projects.

“Ncube took the money, with the agreement being he would come back with the equivalent in South African Rands in a day, however come the agreed time of meeting he had disappeared into thin air.

“We tried tracing him and even questioned is live in partner but we had no luck in locating him, we therefore appeal to anyone who might have information that might lead to his arrest to kindly assist us,” said a police source.

This publication managed to visit the house where Ncube stayed with his live in partner Previous Ndlovu in Pumula South and found it locked, however some of the window panes were broken, with neighbours alleging the house was attacked by unknown individuals who were looking for Ncube.

His wife, Previous is said to have been injured, together with their children during the said attack.

“As it is we don’t know the whereabouts of Ncube, Previous and their children, we woke up to see the house locked after the attack. Those who spoke to Previous after the attack say she claimed to have been raped and was now scared.

“We really hope for the sake of the children that they are safe, as you see the house, yes it’s locked but the window panes have all been broken into,” said the source.
