Four companies hold AGMs in June

FOUR listed companies will be the focus for investors this June as they wait to gauge their performances when they hold their annual general meetings.First Mutual Life and ABC Holdings start the winter month scrutiny when shareholders hold their AGMs this Tuesday.

Rainbow Tourism Group will hold its AGM on 11 June while Masimba Holdings will be the last this month on 26 June.

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange closed the month on Friday last week on a positive territory, taking its weekly gain to 174.85 points, up 0,45 percent on Thursday trade.

The Mining Index gained 4,57 percent to close at 35.44 points.

The risers on Friday were up 16,67 percent to close at 0,07c; Astra gained 12,5 percent to close at 4,5c; Bindura gained 10 percent to close at 2,2c; FML gained 7,69 percent to close at seven cents and DZHL gained 3,53 percent to close at 8,5c. Pearl led the losers down 15,25 percent to close at 2,5c; Cottco fell 11,11 percent to close at 0,8c; Hunyani lost 4,55 percent to close at 2,1c and Hwange lost 4 percent to bring it down to 4,8c.

The total value of trades was US$1,795 million, boosted mainly by trades in Delta and to a lesser extent Old Mutual.
