AS fresh blood in the entertainment scene, Million Dollar Events is making sure that their first impressions count as they host two headlining amapiano acts, Busta 929 and DJ Melzi today at Bulawayo Eyadini.
The evening gig will see a number of different genres complete for supremacy on the day, with everything from amapiano to kwaito, HipHop, Deep House and Dancehall a cocktail of different musical styles.
It is DJ Nospa, Def Jam signee Asaph and other local DJs who are prearranged to keep the audience on their feet and set the vibe for the invited international guests.
In an interview with Sunday Life, Malvin Mufudzi a member of Million Doller Events said, “Our utmost aim is to deliver foreign acts to Zimbabwean streets because we all know that we have local acts but it hits differently when you get it from the foreign acts.
Since we are a new player in the game it means that there have been other promoters that were there before us, we would want people to distinguish the difference but the main aim of the Million Dollar events is to bring excitement that has been lost over the years.”
He went on to say, “The two acts that we have invited are coming and they have confirmed.
We seek to bring the best entertainment more than what people paid for.
Even when you look at the entrance fee, it suggests that we want to give them the best for less.
Million Dollar Events were at pains to point out that despite recent disappointments they would deliver where other promoters in the city had failed, giving revelers value for their money, with all performers set hit the stage as scheduled.
