SINCE his rise to stardom, Mothusi Bashimane Ndlovu, warmly known as Madlela, has been much sought after in the entertainment industry.

Famed for the hit single Ngamnanka and his comedy movies and skits – Madlela Skhobokhobo Power, Madlela, who was based in South Africa moved back to Zimbabwe to pursue his dream of nurturing and developing the arts sector.

With a fan base stretching across the country and beyond, Madlela has been invited to co-host and judge a talent show, which seeks to identify and promote upcoming talent in Plumtree.

The show will be held at Allan RedFern Primary School on 7 October this year. An organiser of the show, Handsome Sibanda said the search seeks to discover people who are talented in the showbiz industry.

“Plumtree talent show will be one of the biggest talent searches in the country. It will provide potential superstars with a chance to pursue their dreams. Those who believe they can make it are encouraged to participate in this life changing show. Those who are interested in taking part are required to pay an amount of $2,” he said.

Sibanda said the show was also a great platform for Plumtree residents to meet and mingle with one of their favourite artistes.

“Local musicians will have the chance to share the stage with Sikhobokhobo, which could initiate a breakthrough to their music career,” he said.
Sibanda said the show was not limited to Plumtree people only.

“People from Mangwe and Bulilima are free to take part in this talent search. Winners of the competition will be rewarded with lucrative prices,” he said.

Man of the moment, Sikhobokhobo will be joined by award winning comedian Ntando Van Moyo, and Mandla Da Comedian on the judging panel.
Comedian Maroosh is expected lighten up the show with his captivating jokes, after he was announced MC of the event. The talent show will be concluded by Sikhobokhobo who will crack the stage with his foot stopping hit, Ngamnanka.
