FAST bowler Blessing Muzarabani has recovered from injury and is set to make a return to the game after he was named in one of the local teams that will play 50-over matches against English counties starting today in Harare.

The fit again Muzarabani was named in the Southerns squad that will take on Glamorgan at Harare Sports Club later today. The pace bowler has been sidelined since last November when he suffered a quadriceps muscle injury flare-up while playing for Zimbabwe at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

Muzarabani’s return to action is a big boost for Zimbabwe who are set to face Netherlands in a One Day International (ODI) series scheduled for 21, 23 and 25 March with all matches being played at Harare Sports Club.
Several other national team players will also feature in the one-dayers against the counties in preparation for international duty.

Another one-day match between a local side and Durham pencilled in for Harare Sports Club on Tuesday will wrap up the tour by the county teams.
