Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) leader, Pastor Jedmos Moyo is spearheading a national project targeted at identifying raw talent under a self established organisation called Talent Trackers.

The project, which has been ongoing since last year is targeted at mostly the youths. Pastor Moyo he said that he has been going around schools, churches and communities in search of hidden artistry.

“I have been going around schools, churches and communities looking for talented people because I believe that there are people who don’t know that there are talented. Some wish to peruse music but give up due to financial setbacks.

“This is something that I have seen especially around rural areas where most people do not have access to resources,” said Pastor Moyo.

He said the project was particularly aimed at supporting as well as guiding those who wished to venture into the music industry.

“There are people who are talented but don’t know where to go or where to start so at the end of the day it’s not all about money.

“It’s painful to see young people who are exceptionally talented but lost therefore talent cannot manifest,” said Pastor Moyo.
He added that the project was inclined to his position as a pastor.

“After identifying the talent I take those who have been talented to the studio which is Velocity Studios, preach to them and also develop them which IS guiding them through  a spiritual path,” said Pastor Moyo.

He said that he was building the brand Talent Trackers in order to leave behind a legacy.

He said that he has worked with a few young people under Talent Trackers.

“I have been working with a few young people who are the ambassadors based here in Bulawayo and I have two in Harare,” said Moyo.

Pastor Moyo said that he has taken the project to South Africa.

“I didn’t want to just stop here in Bulawayo or Zimbabwe hence I decided to take the project to South Africa because there are a lot of artists who are in SA but are Zimbabweans hence I found artistes in SA who are Zimbabweans and exposed them to the media back home.

“So now they have called me to come to SA in Alexander Township. I will be counseling them on how they need to carry themselves and also will be enlightening them about the industry and what they need to take note of,” said Pastor Moyo.
