ANOTHER young upcoming devotional and spiritual author has launched a 70-paged book titled Hope for a Sinner, after repenting from his sinful nature.

Thembelani Ncube (25) from Bulawayo, like most youths before finding Christ said he led a rebellious life, not knowing the turning point would give birth to a spiritual book.

“I kept sinning until I asked myself where I was missing it. That’s when I dug deeper into the revelation of God’s grace until the turning point in my life in 2009 when I accepted Jesus Christ,” said Ncube.

Unlike most youthful writers that chose to pursue fictional, drama and romantic genres, as a devotional Christian, Ncube decided to anchor his message on winning souls.

“Hope for a sinner is a story of hope to the hopeless. It’s all about bringing a glimmer of light to the lost, a seal of wisdom to the victorious and proving that with the grace of the Lord anything is possible,” he said.

As a graduate and holder of BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, Ncube is aware that dearth of reading culture may be an obstacle to spreading his message, as a result he is distributing the book on several online platforms.

“I may not convince everyone but definitely I will convince some, we are the workmanship of God ordained for good works. As a result my book is found on several online platforms like Amazon and Kindle,” he said.

Despite the book being inspired by a defining moment in his life, Ncube added he is looking forward to writing more books.

“I’m fully convinced more books are yet to come. My next book will be titled This cross works. I was inspired to write it after I wrote the first book then the revelation of God’s grace grew. It is only when we rely on God that we begin to do what we thought we can’t,” he said.

Ncube, like many young authors is no exception to financial constraints, as it affected his book launch leading to him just distributing the book to interested parties.

“Due to the constraints of funds the launching I did was just spreading an awareness message on the book completion and distributing to interested parties. However, I have facilitated distribution points from mobile individuals both in Bulawayo and Harare,” he said.
