UNLIKE other teams that used their social media platforms to unveil players, Chicken Inn Football Club decided to go about their business quietly as they strengthened their squad.

The Gamecocks have during the January transfer window brought in Itai Hwata from Cranborne Bullets, Richard Hachiro from Caps United, Brighton Ncube formerly with Zebras Revolution, raided Bulawayo City to sign Tawanda Zinaka.

Nkululeko Nkala, the Chicken Inn media officer said they were awaiting clearances for other players they are bringing on board.

On Satuday, Chicken Inn posted a message on Twitter in which they appeared to be taking a dig at teams that have been making noise on social media about their new signings while they went about their business silently.
Bulawayo Chiefs, Highlanders and Dynamos are some of those who made noise on social media about their signings

“Did you know doing your things silently does not mean you doing nothing? Good morning world.

Happy movement players. Good bye and Welcome. It is what it is,’’ posted Chicken Inn.

The Gamecocks only lost striker Obriel Chirinda who joins Chiefs when his contract expired at the end of last month while George Majika, who was being targeted by Highlanders is staying put at the Joey Antipas coached side.
