STUDENTS from the National University of Science and Technology have come up with a charity organisation to teach primary school teachers and pupils how to use computers.

Partners For Life was started by lecturers and students in the Department of Records and Archives. One of the founders of the projects, Mr Prosper Dube, said the organisation was trying to complement Government’s efforts to ensure that teachers are equipped with the right knowledge to implement the new curriculum.

The organisation has about 20 committee members. He said the members are using their own resources to implement the project. Besides educating the teachers, the organisation also collects books and uniforms for onward distribution to needy pupils.
