A MKOBA 17 family in Gweru has been locked in a love triangle lesbian scam after a married woman was caught being intimate with a fellow tenant’s wife.
The woman, Hildah Mtegesa was reportedly caught red handed while being intimate with Amanda Rugare, by the latter’s husband, only identified as Mr Rugare who is also a serving soldier with the Zimbabwe National Army.
According to sources close to the matter, Mtegesa is said to be the one who instigated the affair with Amanda, an issue which reportedly agitated Mr Rugare leading him to severely beat up Mtegesa.
“What we understand is that Mtegesa is the one who has been nagging Amanda for them to be involved in a lesbian affair which saw Amanda eventually giving in. On the day in question Mr Rugare, after getting numerous reports on this alleged lesbian affair, laid a trap and caught the two red handed engaging in sexual intercourse.
“When he caught the two, Mr Rugare severely beat up Mtegesa leading her to be admitted at Gweru General Provincial Hospital. The beating was so much that he even called Mtegesa’s husband, who was equally beaten by their fellow tenant for allegedly leading his wife astray,” said another tenant who stays in the same house as the two couples.
According to the tenant after Mtegesa was discharged from the hospital she had not returned to their Mkoba 17 lodgings.
“At the hospital, it was discovered that Mtegesa was pregnant and had suffered a miscarriage due to the beatings from Mr Rugare. After she was discharged she went to her parents’ house in Mkoba 13 but they reportedly told her to go back to her husband in Mkoba 17, from there we do not know where she went to.
“We suspect she went into hiding as she feared being arrested or even facing the wrath of Mr Rugare, we do not even know where she is as also her mobile phone is not going through,” said the tenant.
