After the resounding success of its pilot project in December titled “The Vic Falls Party Bus”, the Enthuse Afrika team faced overwhelming pressure for an additional experience this year. The destination however, changes from Victoria Falls to the breath taking mountainous Vumba.

In an interview with Sunday Life, the editor of #Enthuse magazine, Stephanie Kapfunde said she was proud to confirm the Vumba edition of the party on wheels in April titled #ThisBhazi: The Vumba Getaway from 15-17 April 2017.

“We went to the drawing board, tweaked a few areas . . . we have definitely pushed our game up for our getaway to Vumba.

Even though we have made changes to the programme, we have incorporated everything,” she said.

She said #ThisBhazi: Vumba Getaway bus departs on 15 April in Harare and returns on 17 April and a great opportunity for a stress free holiday.

“Everybody leaves from one place that is in Harare but I am looking forward to a time when we can pick people up on our way,” she said.

Stephanie said they noticed that people wanted to have an affordable time and so they came up with reasonable prices that would accommodate everyone. She said this year’s edition will be a trip of a life time as things have been thoroughly thought out and organised in a manner that will keep everyone’s adrenaline pumping.

“People want to have best of both worlds, to enjoy luxury but the type of luxury that will make sense to their pockets. We want to make it a beautiful, enjoyable getaway hence $300 gets you a bed and breakfast in one of Vumba’s best place,” she said.

Adding to the experience #Enthuse will host Bulawayo’s DJ Noma to get the party on wheels going. #ThisBhazi as it is known on social media will have live musical performances from the likes of Jazz musician Maria Vera-Chisvo.

“It’s really a juxta position of experiences; you have a DJ there, a live vocalist here. A flowing bar too and some amazing people on board, definitely not to be missed,” she said.

Stephanie also mentioned that the Vumba Getaway will incorporate activities and itinerary on and off board, estate tours, relaxing afternoons and the climax being the Pamberi Bornfire.

“There will be an intimate starlit night with live musical talent of sorts. The itinerary packages will include game walks, sundowners and enchanted forest hikes for an additional amount of $25,” she said.
