SUITABLY borrowing its name from cricket terminology – The Boundary Bar lounge Restaurant becomes one of the City of Kings newest editions in the entertainment industry.

Delicately nestled in the heart of Queens Sports Club, The Boundary opened its doors at the end of July this year.

Offering one of the most chilled out environments, with pavilion scenery of the cricket grounds, The Boundary offers patrons a place to relax and unwind, while enjoying “adult” beverages and sumptuous cuisine.

Open every day of the week, The Boundary offers different exotic and traditional meals.

Particularly focusing on tapping into the tourism industry The Boundary seeks to have its backbone embedded in various cuisines.

The chef and manager of the extravagant bar lounge Emmanuel Mangwendeza said the concept behind the place was to try and promote domestic tourism through offering different meals from across the region and seas.

“The idea is to boost domestic tourism. We want patrons to enjoy various meals and activities in the comfort of their own home. We offer various delicious meals ranging from sea food to succulent meaty platters. This place is exclusive, private, and secure and we want to maintain a classy and mellow standard. The idea also here is not to have a dormant facility that can generate income for one of our sporting facilities,” said Mangwendeza.

He said the bar lounge prioritised and boasted on offering fresh foods, which the acquired every day.

“We support local producers and get our produce and products from them on a regular basis, to maintain quality and ensure the clientele gets fresh food. We make our own juices from various fruits, which we offer in various cocktails. If you have travelled the same food and beverages you may have tasted you will enjoy here,” said Mangwendeza.

He noted that as part of the bar lounge’s endevour to maintain prestige the bar would only offer exclusive services to select clientele, such as corporates and other respectable groupings.

“There are standards that we seek to maintain. As we want this place to be one that is patronised by not necessarily refined people, we will uphold a right to reserve entry to certain individuals,” said Mangwendeza.

He said the location of the bar Lounge was ideal for those seeking to shy away from the rather monotonous noisy bars and clubs in the city centre, mostly patronised by youthful adults.

“The location is ideal if you want to get away from town. With our priority focus being setting and maintaining standards, we uphold freshness in all we do,” said Mangwendeza.
