The Minister of Finance and Economic Development Prof Mthuli Ncube has announced the new board of the Infrastructural Development Bank of Zimbabwe, the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer for the Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC), Commissioner of the Pensions Commission (IPEC) and Director General of the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (Zimstat).
In statements posted on his twitter handle at the weekend, Prof Ncube said lawyer Mr Vusilizwe Vuma takes over as Chief Executive Officer of DPC, after serving the organisation at senior level management for a number of years.
“I have the pleasure of announcing the appointment of Mr Vusilizwe Vuma as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC). Congratulations and do look forward to working with him.”
Mrs Grace Muradzikwa takes over leadership at IPEC, while Mr Taguma Mahonde becomes the new Director General for Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (Zimstat). The new board members of IPEC, led by Mr Albert Nduna are David Mureriwa, Annah Mashingaidze, Godwin Nyengedza and Judith Rusike.
The IDBZ board will be chaired by Mr Joe Mutizwa and also includes RBZ deputy governor Dr Kupukile Mlambo, Luke Ngwerume, Sibusisiwe Bango, Reginald Mugwara, Jeremiah Mutonga, Tadious Muzorora and Norbert Mugwagwa.
“I have the pleasure in announcing the appointment of the new Board members for the Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe (IDBZ) with Mr Joe Mutizwa as Chairman of the Board. Congratulations to the new board members and looking forward to working with you.”
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
